"Pumped up Kicks" is by Foster the People.
Foster the People is a group out of Los Angeles that formed in 2009 and thats pretty much much all that i could find online about the since they are just starting to blow up. I seem to sense a bit of retro coming through there music, meaning that theres a lot of eighties sounds which they seem to be influenced by.
The song "Pumped up Kicks" seems to have very interesting lyrics about how kids with pumped up kicks should probably run faster than his bullet......... yup pretty intense lyrics, apparently it has to do with school shooting or something. Anyways I just like the song because its pretty mellow and the type of music you can play in your car during the summer while headed to the beach or something. Oh and I am currently on youtube looking for the song to post and I just happened to find the music video for the song which i didn't know existed. Its pretty cool and it they actually kind of remind me of passion pit in a way =]
